what is this for “Respectful Interaction”
This wearable product provides a respectful and subtle way for individuals to indicate their preference for privacy, signaling that they prefer not to engage in conversation.
It creates an environment where social interaction is indirectly avoided, promoting personal space in a considerate manner.
why
There are often situations where individuals desire personal space but feel compelled to engage with others. In the digital world, features like 'Do Not Disturb' or 'Away' statuses on email provide a clear message of wanting privacy. However, in the physical world, we lack simple, clear indicators to communicate our need for personal space and to ensure that our boundaries are respected.
How & Process
This project is currently in progress and involves researching social psychology by interviewing individuals about their social interaction experiences. It includes hosting small workshops with different cohorts, creating prototypes, and conducting user tests to refine the product and ensure its effectiveness in fostering genuine personal boundaries.

The journey to finding a green point.
