project goal
Familiarize people with hydrogen mobility and its infrastructure, thereby increasing demand for Hyundai's hydrogen-based EV vehicle ecosystem.final outcome
1.Mobile Station
Increase accessibility for people on a daily basis. For the mobile station, we used the existing Hyundai electric bus and engineered it based on that model.
2.Integration with Personal Mobility (PM)
The mobile station offers rental and charging services for last mile mobility. By consistently delivering positive interactions, it may increase awareness and recognition of the ecosystem.
SCENARIO
User Scenario Simulation Test - Low Fidelity Prototype
Conducted a 1:1 scale simulation of the Hyundai ELEC City Bus using a low-fidelity prototype.
This simulation aims to understand how users interact inside the bus in terms of scale and usability.
The goal was to validate our concept of integrating a charging system into the existing Hyundai bus without causing discomfort during movement inside, while also facilitating the charging of personal mobility devices.
User Scenario Simulation Test - VR Simulation
Due to limited access to the Hyundai ELEC City Bus, we conducted a VR simulation to validate scalability using the 3D modeling and rendering designed by the vehicle designer.

APP Design
App UI Design
Originally designed in Korean (left) as part of the Hyundai project and reviewed by C-level executives.
The English version (right) was personally translated for portfolio purposes only.
Original(KOR)
“Majung”
Translated(ENG) “Greeting”
Majung App offers integrated transportation services, from PM (personal mobility) to hydrogen mobile stations. Users can easily access information and utilize these two mobility options through the app.
App Flow - Mobile Station
STEP 1
This is the first screen users will see, showing a map of the current location.
The top section allows users to change their location and settings. At the bottom, there are tabs to switch between the mobile station and PM pages.
STEP 2
Station Information
By tapping on the left bottom "Station" tab, users can view information about nearby operating Majung stations. The user can then choose which station to use.
STEP 3
Selecting a Station
For example, if Majung 01 is selected, users can see the number of available charging PMs and seat availability at that station.
App Flow - PM Search and Connection
STEP 1
PM Page
When no PM is connected,
the "Search" tab appears,
and previously used PMs are shown at the bottom.
STEP 2
Renting a PM
Users can rent a PM by using the app's recognition feature at a mobile station, and once the PM is connected, a confirmation window will appear on the app.
STEP 3
While Using PM
When a PM is connected and in use, users can check the amount to be paid, travel distance, and remaining battery.
STEP 4
Returning PM
After using the PM, users can return it to a mobile station. A confirmation window will appear, showing the total amount to be paid. This completes the Majung service experience.
Mechanical Engineering - Hyundai elec city bus and iconic personal mobility
Mechanical Engineering - Mobile Charging Station
With the Hyundai ELEC City and personal mobility, mechanical engineers calculate the weight distribution while considering the mechanical systems in the bus, such as the AC control and battery system.
